NYCCW Magazine Interview with Johnny Clash
NYCCW Magazine: Hey Johnny, nice to see you up and moving about. How are your injuries healing up?
Johnny Clash: Im coming along, I can’t say im one hundred percent healed at the moment but I sure am getting there
NYCCW Magazine: do you know what triggered that assault from Jackson at the last geeksoft event?
Johnny Clash: I think it was frustration. I have beaten Jackson on numerous accounts and I personally feel that he doesn’t think he can pin me. His mind set just isn’t there and if you don’t have the right state of mind than no, you can’t beat someone.
NYCCW Magazine: When will you be expected back?
Johnny Clash: I will be there for the first show on the new network. I will face off against new comer Alex Cross. It will definitely be weird since I haven’t stepped foot in a live ring in such a long time.
NYCCW Magazine: Have you been training for the return?
Johnny Clash: of course, I have been to the gym every day and doing what I can. Laura has been great support too and really helping me with whatever I need
NYCCW Magazine: What were your exact injuries?
Johnny Clash: Well I had a herniated disc in my neck that is still killing me, I fractured my right arm and broke my left leg. I was a little unbalanced there for a bit. Fortunately I’m almost fully recovered now and there haven’t been any complications
NYCCW Magazine: What do we expect between you and Austin Jackson now?
Johnny Clash: I thought that was our last encounter but clearly it’s far from over. I think I might have to put Mr. Jackson in his place one last time to shut him up. Maybe I will have to put him in the hospital this time just to prove a point. Don’t get me wrong I am going to remain focused on my main goal, which is the NYCCW title but Austin will get his when he least expects it.
NYCCW Magazine: Okay, moving on now. We see you are among the few NYCCW Wrestlers involved in Social Media and twitter. You tend to be one of the more vocal wrestlers on there, not holding anything back.
Johnny Clash: You know it’s great for the fans to actually see what the wrestlers are like outside of their character. Whether they like it or not thats me. I’m a jokester and I like to get under peoples skin all in the name of fun. I joke around with the guys like Stytch, Kried and Drake but we all know its in fun.
NYCCW Magazine: We have also seen some wrestlers fight verbally with the H4CK3R? Any word on who that might be?
Johnny Clash: Not a clue. I mean I’m sure everyone in the back has their assumptions. I do too but I don’t have enough to go out there and say who I think it is. He seems like a prick though to be honest, and some of the stuff he says is really messed up. If he does show his face in the NYCCW, he pissed off a lot of people and he might just not get a warm welcome.
NYCCW Magazine: Alright Johnny thank you very much we appreciate the time.
Johnny Clash: Alright thanks guys
