Chase ran on the treadmill at the gym he owned in Florida. A small man with a full beard slowly came up to Chase, who did not see him coming. Chase had ear buds in his ears, listening to music that got him hyped. The small man tapped Chase on the shoulder and Chase stopped the treadmill and stopped running. He turned to face the small man, towering over the him.
Chase: What do you want?
Small man: I-I-I was wondering if I could have a little quick interview with you, M-M-Mr. Grimes.
Chase chuckled. Ever since he had joined NYCCW, interviewers and blog writers and journalists all came up to him with an interview. Chase had turned them all down. Why? Because he didn't feel like talking to any of those motherfuckers. But, he was going to give this guy an interview. Why? Because he could easily intimidate this guy.
Chase: Go ahead. I'll let you ask me...five questions and that's it.
Small Man: Thank you.
The small man opened his book bag and took out a notepad, filled with questions, and a pen. He cleared his throat before beginning his interview with Chase.
Small Man: Question number one, why did you come to NYCCW?
Chase: Are you freaking kidding me?! Did you not see last Saturday?! I am here to win titles, especially the world title! I'm here to become the best in this business! That is why I'm here! What a fucking waste of a question.
The small man wrote down what was probably not the full answer, then cleared his throat again.
Small Man: Question two, are you looking forward to facing Metallica Evans?
Chase: That's a joke, right? Whoever I face will lose to me. There is no stopping me. I am well on my way to becoming one of the greatest NYCCW wrestlers ever and I'll prove it when I face Metallica Evans!
The small man wrote Chase's answer down before moving on to the next question.
Small Man: Next question. Who is your biggest inspiration?
Chase: That's easy. Myself. I believe I am the greatest and I don't look up to anyone, just to myself.
The small man wrote down Chase's answer, again.
Small Man: Question number four, who are you most looking forward to facing at NYCCW?
Chase: Again, it doesn't matter to me. Whoever I face will fall to me, plain and simple. Last question and I'm done.
Small Man: All right, final question. Any plans on teaming up with anyone?
Chase chuckled at this question.
Chase: At the moment, no. If I find a wrestler who even has anything remotely close to my talent, then possibly. And....I'm done.
The small man extended his hand for a handshake.
Small Man: Thank you for your time, Mr. Grimes.
Chase smirked as he shook the man's hand. The small man's hand was all clammy and sweaty, so Chase released it quickly.
Chase: Pay attention this week, because I'm making a statement!
